ok, today I had blood work redone, as the last one got 'contaminated'. I received phone call about getting my pump fixed, Pete arrived in Austria (skiing with people from work). work on room is going well, closet is built, bathroom extension begins this week. ready for dust to end! Hayle and I are trying to NOT fight. I have made THE BEST quesadilla, and now I can't get enough of it! Salsa was GREAT!. Hmmm, what else? Anyone? anyone?

I brushed my teeth, then my hair. Went to work, caught the earlier train because it was late. Dodged the rain. had a meeting with Jim. He asked me if I would work for him if he went independent. Had spinach soup for lunch. Caught the train home just in time to dodge another downpour. Went to publix, bought lunch meat and cheese for tomorrow. Going to get comfortable (pj's), get a glass of wine and then watch how Ellen does on American Idol.
Anyone else??

I went to work, had an appointment at Elizabeth & James, then Christian Dior, back to work. Tried to find things for my intern to do. Came home, trying to be quiet because Sebastien has really bad strep throat and fever, I guess if you get a bad case it can cause a rash to come over your whole body (like his arms, neck, and legs....never knew that before), so he went to the doctor and they gave him some sort of shot. So now I am trying to isolate myself so I do not get sick...fashion week starts Thurs so that would really suck. Suppose to get a snow storm tonight.
Oh Nancy, I have to email you about the Rosetta Stone, Sebastien's friend who has it is in France for 3 months.

How exciting everyone's life is...Well, I got up , thought about doing laundry (but I thought too long and by the time i got to the laundry room someone else was using the washer). So I decided to get some running around done . Backed out of my parking spot and some jerk Laid on his horn and scared the crap out of me. He was at least two car lenghts away. "Jerk"!Then he pulls into the spot across from me. (Not his parking spot). so I rolled down my window to inform him that I was not deaf and that he was in someones else's parking spot. Of course he told me he would park where he wants to.HAHAHA!. I used my authority and called the pres. of that condo and "TADA", he called me later and apologized. and asked if he could PLEASE park in our spot. I told me he was like my two year old son who hit his sister so I took his candy away from him until he apologized. AND that's what i thought of his apology. But I did let him park there cause I realy don't care where any one parks. The rest of the day was boring!!

Mom!! You SOOOO cracked me up!!! I know where I get it from!! Kathy, you didn't say what your answer to your boss' question was?? I am anxiously waiting!! Brittany, thanks for letting me know. Hayle has dropped Chemistry and is now taking Spanish. This means she will be TESTED on it next year and will have to cram 3 years of spanish into one year. She had her first private lesson today If you can get your hands on it, let me know. Or I may have to fork out the dough for it!! And that would take away from my spending money when I come over!

So, I had another workout today. I am getting VERY strong! I feel fantastic, and all my clothes are looser! yay! will try to keep it up!! About to try the weight watchers chicken has I made for dinner.....

Pete's still in Austria, comes home tomorrow. Bedroom is coming along! I am MOST excited about my closet!! And the linen closet I'm having done too!! OMG!!!! SO, so, so excited!!!!

Golly, everyone has such exciting lives. I got up, had my fake coffee, played on the computer. Fed the dog, let her out (just opened the door and let her out--I stood at the window and watched her pee, then called her in). Played on the computer, called my girls, called Tony but he didn't answer. Played on the computer. I'm thinking about making lunch and what will I make for dinner. Hmmm what to do, what to do. Oh, just scratched my head.
Well, I'm going to make my lunch and then I will get back to you all to let you know what exciting things happen this afternoon.

I wondered if I could ask a favor of EVERYONE!! Just do it, please!!! I want you to think of a childhood memory. A great story. write it out to the best of your ability, please. It could be funny, sad, emotional, loving, sweet, scary, whatever. But send me one. Not just a coupla sentences, a story. Please, mom, and all my brothers and sisters do this. Then I will ask you for another one, so if you feel like writing more, do that. I'd love the story of Linda stowing away, kathy, didn't you hitchhike somewhere, the spaghetti thrown on you, meeting or marrying your partners. ok, do it, do it now.

Mary Lesh said...

Not a problem Nancy. I'll get started right away.
Just for the record everyone, I mopped my hardwoods, played a little on the computer and now I am making dinner. Hopefully it will be better than last nights dinner because I really ruined it. Over cooked chicken is really bad. Kind of rubbery. Oh, I also took a picture. I decided to start taking a picture a day. So I did.

thank you mary, i love hearing your updates. but you really need to not beon the computer so much. that's what i'm told too. it's ever so hard to tear myself away! I went to the gym yesterday and got my ass kicked again, and i did not lose a pound, i think i gained a couple, that's bull crap. i even ate WW last night! dang it! talked to pete last night, he's having a great time, and wants us to all go back there. i checked and prices are crazy, so i think not. today i have another appt to get my pump fixed and i think i'll make zero point freaking soup.
mary, thanks for the story, but the link wouldn't come up this morning, i'll try again later

I think I'll write my story and then send it to Mary to "beef it up". I love reading her creations. In fact, I do believe she missed her calling. She could write a book and I know it would be a BEST SELLER!!! No one can compete with her stories, so I'll just let her write mine....What the heck!!

ok, so before I left for my appt today, I asked my two workers if they'd like a bratwurst when I get back. they said sure! But a 3rd guy came and was working as well. (Ive never seen him b4) When I got home, I made 3 bratwurst, with onions. Delicious multigrain baguettes, stoneground mustard and cheese. I called up to Rob that they were ready. He says, come on boys it's ready. I stopped in my tracks. 'Boys'? should be only one more boy. So, I ended up giving up my bratwurst for the 3rd guys, and had no lunch for me!!! OMG, I was SOOOO disappointed! I wanted that bratwurst so freaking bad. In the end, I'm now eating my zero point soup instead.

Mary Lesh said...

Zero point soup is better for you.
Gosh, I don't know how I forgot to tell you this. I have been investigating some murders in our home. It seems we have a serial killer in our fish tank. We have lost several fish to this monster. I have been spying on the fish to see which one it is. John thinks it is the biggest fish, just because he is the biggest. But I have my eye on one of the medium sized fish. He seems very aggressive. The big one is too aloof and doesn't seem to bother the others. Of course that could be a ploy. I'll keep you posted

Nancy said...

it's the big one, simple math, he's bigger. i had a big gold fish, and thought he needed some friends. i didn't have a clue fish ate fish. i thought they ate fish food! But suddenly, the 2 new fish were gone! I looked all over the table the tank was on and on the floor thinking they must've jumped out?? But there was NOTHING! I kept looking, never thinking Goldie' could/would eat them??? But when there were no bones around even weeks later, I had to figure he did. Jerk!
