This past weekend I watched Johnny and Kelly for awhile. It was Lori and Rob's 20th wedding anniversary. Kelly played with my WII fitness and completely showed me up on every exercise. She unlocked a bunch of new games for me though.
Neil had lasik surgery on his eyes this past week. He is sooo happy. But...that means the military wants him to wait a few more months.
He also got a new car. Well, it's new to him but it's a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. I think he likes the Jeep as much as his new eyesight.
I've been better on my diet but not as good as Linda and Mom.
Thats all I got!!!

Kathy, glad to hear your updates. I bought a new dress today for the wedding. yippee. But I am stressing out about the other 2 weddings! seriously! Pete now has to go to Germany and is supposed to return on the 12th of june. Gerry's wedding is 13th, how can I possibly make it?? I can't leave hayle alone with both parents in flight coming and going to other countries. I've thought, well to be logical, I just can't go. But then I think about you all together, laughing and having THAT much fun, and I really really am stressing out!! I do not want to miss another thing!! What am I gonna do?? She can't come with me, because she would miss way too much school. oh God, I don;t know what to do!!!!
Hey Nance! Have you thought of asking Gerry and Jada to get married over in Wales??
Surely you have made friends with someone who could keep her overnight. You could leave on the 11th to come here and Hayle can stay at a friends (although I hate to not see Hayle) then Pete will be home on the 12th and can pick her up. Now that wasn't that hard was it?

What a busy weekend I'm going to have. First, I'm going to lay out in the cloudy weather because it's the only time I have to get a little color to me. (I'm very pale)
Second, I have to find a pretty Moo Moo to wear to Christy and Leeman's wedding.
Third, I think I need to find a magic marker (the same color as my hair) so that I can color in my bald spot. It seems to be getting bigger. Here's my dilemma, should I buy a marker the color that my hair fades to after a few washes or should I buy one that's the same color my hair is now. (Kinda dark, Ooops) Oh, I guess I could splurge and buy two different colors, markers aren't that expensive. I'll just go cheaper on the Moo Moo's.
Last and certainly not least, I need to go to "Total Wine" and stock up. I need to wait until later in the day to do that. It's a little uncomfortable waiting at the liquor store for the doors to open in the morning.
I hope everyone will be as busy as me this weekend and reports back here on Monday so we can secretly decide who lives a more exciting life.

First of all. If I hear you talk about a moomoo one more time, I'm gonna rip you a new one. You are not old or fat or dumb enough for that crap. You are young, pretty, and need to get up and GO! Knock it off!! Ok, second of all, it is early Saturday and Pete and I just finished putting together the 'shoe cabinet'. I;m tired and starving. We are going to take buffet to the lake I think since the sun is out here! Then, we have dinner reservations at a new restaurant here in Penarth at 6:45. I know, early, but they're otherwise totally booked. And anyway, we are going to our neighbors birthday party at 8. I think there is an exception for those who gave up wine during lent on birthdays right? We were going to go to the mall today because it was supposed to rain, but it did, and it stopped, and it's beautiful out! we have to take advantage when it is sunny! And I will be shopping this week for some cool clothes (no moo moo's) to party in!! ok, that's my deal.
Kathy, it depends on when you are going to color your bald spot. If you wait until the hair fades then you need the color that matches then. If you just colored your hair then match that color. That was not that hard Kathy. Make sure you let me know what color moomoo you buy. I don't want us to be twins. Of course I am still counting on losing 50 pounds before the wedding. I lost 10 and only 40 to go. That's only 10 a week. Surely I can do that.
Nancy, I gave up wine but only if I don't want it tooo badly. That way you can have it on special occasions, bad days (cuz you never know), especially happy days (not just your ordinary happy days), if someone offers (cuz you don't want to be rude), and just in case you need it. Bridget gave it up at home. She can have it as long as she isn't at home. She spends a lot of time out now.
Kathy, I have a busy weekend too. I already did the invoices for the HOA, made breakfast for John (2nd time this week), and made the bed. I plan to mop and wax floors, vaccuum, go to a Flasher's game. That is the hockey team here. Barb and Gerry are going too. Can't wait. It is my first Hockey game and I am hoping for a huge fight.
I am showing homes tomorrow. I will let you all know Monday all the things I do.
Well, everyone is sooo busy. Even me. I got up early so I could get everything ready for Mass tonite, as i did not do any of it at all this week. I was in the middle of ironing when Lori called and said she was at Cracker Barrel and did I want to come. I thought about it for 2 seconds and unplugged the iron , changed mt shirt and left. It was good and fun and now I am home and I plugged in the iron and waiting for it to get warm. Tomorrow will be my big day..shopping for a dress (no Moo-moo's for me)I joined WW and lost 4 whole pounds. Can't believe noone has noticed. Any way I think I want something resembling a moo moo but more ritzy looking.Maybe diamonds on it or something.. a few frills. Kathy, if you buy a tiara, you could wear that and it will keep your hair down so noone will notice a bald spot. And a tiara will dress up the Moo Moo. Do you think Christy will be mad, though? I think Bridget may have an extra one. Well the iron is hot and I'm not but I can pretend. Must go and get the work done.

(not really) All his jeans are so ridiculously baggy, he looks like a rapper or something. I;m going shopping next week. He's not crazy about the dress I bought. I cannot believe that!! I think it's perfect. I may wear it anyway. Definitely if I don't find anything else. Mary, you are a real problem solver! You are solving all our probs! Mom, cracker barrel sounds so nice! I want to go there. I would've unplugged the iron too! what'd you have? Who all went? what'd you talk about? ok, I'm gonna get a shower and lay around. I bought champagne so I can drink tht tonight. However, next year, I am making my lenten thingy according to Mary's rules! why do I not think like that til it's too late??
Nancy, you can change the rules after. I always do. Especially if it's really hard to stick to it. I don't want to fail, so I just change the rules.
thank God, cuz I AM having a glass of wine tonight. I dont want to be rude. or have to appear the martyr and tell them "no, no wine for me, I gave it up for lent". You're not supposed to do that, remember that gospel?
mary, when will you be in PA? I'll be there saturday the 11th.
I'm leaving here the 11th and should be there about 6:00 pm. Mom is flying to ATL and riding with me. If I have to make too many stops for her we may be later.
Mary..not to worry. I am making egg salad sandwiches to take so we do not have to stop. Only to pee.oh licorice too. And if I can find password, we will play that too.
