Just wanted to clarify that my last post was NOT meant in a mean way, I was being completely sarcastic. Apparently my dad thought everyone would be mad at me...so I'm fixing this like a good little daughter.

Rick I think if anyone had a problem with Jennifer's post they would have said something. Haven't you been reading this blog. Not much is off limits.
Everyone is welcome. A count might be nice. I only have service for 8. Well, maybe we should make that 4. We keep losing dishes. I will get more, but I need to know how many.
It might help to know what everyone is bringing so we don't duplicate, but it's not that important.

Yes we can have dummilies (with a u).But they will not be as good as Mom's. Close but not quite there.

And we'll have a table full of food too. yeah. good food. lots of it. and dessert. and way lots of wine. and then we're gonna play Monopoly! Beat that! Hah! or Yatzee! Oh yeah, we'll be just fine.

I take that back. There will be wayyy too many of us to play scrabble. We'll play Simon Says, if we can after eating so much.
I guess we'll make the turkey, since it needs to go in the oven early. Joh will make chestnut stuffing and gravy. I can make biscuits. Who is next?
my mouth is watering. I'm gonna make all the same stuff. How/where shall we post recipes? I want to know how you make your roasted root veggies (sounds SO good!!) and the chestnut stuffing. You can't buy pepperidge farm stuffing mix here, so I will make my own, but it might taste different. I'm realy really good at salad. I think we may invite american neighbors down the street as well. They have 2 small children so we'll fill up the house.

Hey guys, Tony says he might want to have Thanksgiving at his house. He is living in Marietta so it is not too far from here. It'll still be a cook off, but the location might change. I'll keep you posted.
