Hey Everyone! We are now Florida homeowners!! And we plan on having a Florida Christmas this year. It's only a 3 bedroom, but it's kind of a big house. I will come down to FL some time between now and xmas to start getting furniture in it, and Hayle and I will be there from the 15th of December to start getting decorated and all ready. Who will be joining us?!?!?! If you haven't seen it, the address is 2310 NE 47th st, lighthouse point. I'm SO excited!!!

Christmas in Florida!!

I am going to Carl's wedding, hope to go by it and check it out. Not sure about Christmas, but maybe a visit while you are there.

Congrats Nancy & Pete. I saw the house and it looks awesome. You may find a few smudge marks on the windows from when Kathy and I climbed the fence to look into the windows. Oh, and the neighbor may have seen us. Can't wait to see the inside from the inside. Well, for those of you that don't know, Carl and Natasja are having a BOY!! No PINK for us...Their wedding is open to anyone in the family. I sent invitations to my siblings, but they do include all the kids (trying to save money). It is going to be a very casual wedding on Saturday evening, with finger food/hors d'oeuvres. All good recipes are welcome. But Sunday we will party all day longggggg at the pool with a bar-b-q. Mary has offered her famous breakfast casseroles and I am assuming Barb will make her macaroni salad to go with potatoes salad, chips and dip and hamburgers/hot dogs and chicken. Oh, did I forget lots and lots of wine....
The Wedding and Christmas sound like fun. I'm in!!!
I'm off to get my hair cut soon and then go dress shopping again. I'm not too happy about shopping because I dieted all week long and didn't lose 1 pound. Linda, I ate that broccolli salad for 4 days, (cleaned out my insides)but no weight loss.
Talked to Neil last night, he's doing fine. He goes through "Hell Week" starting June 13th. Keep him in your prayers. He's had a little hair loss because of carrying boats on his head and lots of chaffing on his back because of the sand and carrying back packs on the runs. This camp has had quite a lot of guys leaving, had 43 quit on one day.
That's all I've got. Can you tell I'm bored - I have to report on my kid because I've got nothing. Woe is me!!
Reporting on the kids is good. How else do we know how they are doing? They don't add to the blog to tell us things.
I am truly bummed I can't make the wedding!! I will be so sad that weekend when you're all having fun and I'm at home. But I wish you all a good time nonetheless.
well, had a good workout today. um, we're watching friday the 13th right now. having a salad for dinner. nothing else is new.....
