Pete comes home tomorrow. He's been golfing since Thursday in sunset beach NC. He got to his moms last night, where she had prepared him a delicious meal of corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, and a potato thing. and corned beef hash for this morning, his favourite. I hope he finds time to run to target for me!!
Hayle and I can't wait for him to come home, but that means I need to 'tidy up' today!
Mom was not driving it because it was already late and then I left to shoot a wedding before she was up and at em. We did not get back from Blue Ridge until 9:00 last night because we stopped in Atlanta to see my kids before we came home. Today I have to work, but when I get home, I will get pictures of Mom driving her ride. It is supper nice and she loves it.
Love that car!!! Got back from Blue Ridge and it was really a good time. I forgot how beautiful it was up there.We had lots of fun, it was good seeing everybody again. Rita would not go to Doris's on Sunday.(don't know why...she did not go to breakfast that Mike was buying for all either, but Scotty went...I told her I had to leave early but she said she did'nt want to go over until they were ready to eat...Went to Donna's really cute house..she is so talented.. going out with Gerry and Barb today.....back home tomorrow! then less than 3 weeks......it's Gart!!!! yahoo!!!.
Woohoo, can't wait for Gart!! Oh yeah, not going to see him. Not going to see Garth either. But getting together with the family is all that really matters. Can't wait.
Got to go to a training class today. Apparently the builder doesn't think we sell enough homes. In this market we sold 4 homes this month. Two in the same day. I don't know if a builder is ever happy. That's why I hate new homes. You can't please anyone.
OMG! I just read an email, Hayles is going on this overnight trip with girl scouts to a castle the same weekend I come over. So the email says, one night they they are going to dress in medieval costume for dinner! Dressed like a princess IN a castle!!
OMG and you are going to miss it? Well, we'll re-create it when I come over and I'll get some pix.
Mom won't let me take pictures of her driving her car. Every time I say, "Hey Mom, let's take pictures of you driving the car." Mom says, "Oh, not now." She drove us to Publix and she did a very good job. I just didn't have my camera. She does have to learn to change the CD while driving. She has to stop and look at what she is doing. Not to worry, we only held up 5 cars.
yes barb. well, anyone can buy a used car from enterprise. they're all pretty new though, generally around 20K miles, but well maintained, and much lower price than a new!

Kathy MaryEllen and I are arriving Wed. night. everyone else is coming in about the same time as you are. we are all at the venitian but Bridget got room in the other building than us..Lori tried to change our reservations to that building but the rooms were twice as much as we were paying...But that's ok...the rooms are only for sleeping..and who wants to sleep We are going to PARTY!!!!!! Can't wait.Uncle Tom and Mimi are coming too....can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nancy, have no fear about mom finding her dvd of Garth Brooks. That dvd hasn't seen the light of day since she got it. It stays in her dvd player and she watches it every day.
Back to the heater thing--remember Mom always hogged the one under the phone? Of course we didn't have the 25 ft cord for years so she couldn't go far.

sewing on hayle's dress, and it's coming out pretty nicely!! So far, no big mistakes, and it looks great. But I have to put a zipper in! Ugh!

Do you guys remember standing over the vents to warm up when we lived on Main Street? I did that this morning. Brought back fond memories!
